In this privacy statement we explain how we handle personal data. We explain which personal data we collect, for which purposes this data is used and how you can view, change or delete your data.
Travion and privacy
Travion is a distributor and supplies IT products to resellers, e-sellers and distributors throughout Europe. To carry out our services and activities, we process personal data, in some cases together with other organizations or companies.
Personal data are carefully processed and secured by us. We adhere to the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation and any other legislation and regulations. That means, for example, that we:
- Clearly state for what purposes we process personal data via this privacy statement;
- First request permission to process personal data in cases where permission is required;
- Only collect personal data that is necessary to perform our services and activities. If more additional personal details are requested, we will explain clearly why these data are requested and we explicitly request permission;
- Do not to pass or data on to third parties, unless this is necessary for the performance of our services and activities or when we are legally obliged to do so;
- Make agreements with third parties if we share data, to ensure that they are not used for other purposes;
- Take appropriate security measures to protect personal data and also requirements of parties that process personal data on behalf of us.
Use of personal data
When using our services, activities, website and when filling in a (contact) form, you leave certain information with us. That may be personal data. We do not process all personal data below, which depends entirely on which services, functionalities and activities you choose to use.
Depending on the services, functionalities and activities, we may process personal data of you as mentioned below:

- Phone number;
- E-mail address;
- Payment details;
- VAT number;
- Login data;
- IP address;
- Cookie ID.
We can also obtain personal data from external sources such as credit information.

Telephone conversations can be recorded for training, coaching and assessment of employees. These recordings are protected and stored in such a way that they are not accessible to unauthorized persons. The recordings of telephone conversations are not kept longer than strictly necessary.
We do not sell personal data to third parties and only provide personal data if this is necessary for the execution of our agreements or to comply with the legal obligations.
With organizations and companies that process personal data in our assignment, we conclude a processor agreement, in which we require that they also comply with the AVG and any other laws and regulations. We remain responsible for these processing operations.
We regularly send a newsletter by e-mail to customers and prospects, including information about product offers, news about Travion and related matters. We will add you to the newsletter file if you have given permission or if you become a client with us. We collect the following data:
- First name;
- Last name;
- E-mail address.
Every newsletter contains a link with which you can unsubscribe.
Secure and store data
We have taken organizational and technical measures to protect personal data against (deliberate and unintentional) destruction, loss, manipulation, unauthorized access and against all other unlawful forms of processing and misuse. We adapt our security measures to new developments and progress. In addition, all our employees have a duty of confidentiality. We do not retain data longer than is legally permitted and necessary for the processing of the purposes for which your data is processed. How long certain data is stored depends on the nature of the data and the purposes for which it is processed. The storage period can therefore differ per goal. At the end of the retention period, personal data will in principle be deleted, anonymized or archived.

Inspect, amend and delete personal data
You have the right to view your personal data, to have it changed or to have it deleted. If you wish to make such a request, you can send a request for access, change or deletion to firstname.lastname@example.org.
To prevent fraud, we ask you to send a copy of the request for access, modification or deletion of personal data. send your valid identity card along with a telephone number where you can be reached during the day. Do not forget to make your BSN number unrecognizable on the copy. We will handle a request for access, change and / or deletion within 4 weeks. If we are unable to process it within this period, we will inform you of this.
Authority Personal Data
We would be happy to help you if you have complaints about the processing of your personal data. If you are still dissatisfied with the treatment of your complaint, then you also have the right under the privacy legislation to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
