Edge-Core was originally established in January 2004 as a group of the Accton Technology Corporation responsible for global branded business. On May 1st, 2010, Edge-Core was spun-off into an independent subsidiary of Accton in order to more easily address different market needs and greater facilitate responsiveness to customers.
